Doro Airbourne 5500 Twin Cordless Phone is a regular cordless phone which comes with digital technology to give you improved reception and sound. It is a DECT and GAP compatible device. Unlike the ordinary corded phones, this unit has more features and advanced calling facilities. Two handsets are included in the package. The phone is provided with a backlit display to exhibit the caller details.
The Twin Cordless Phone has an electronic phone book and it has a capacity to store up to 30 numbers. The unit has a Caller ID facility which enables to identify the caller. It has a mute function to turn off the microphone, whenever required. The paging facility of this cordless phone helps to locate the handset, whenever it is misplaced. The handset will beep, on pushing a button on the base station and you can easily find out the lost handset.
The Doro Airbourne 5500 DECT Twin Cordless Phone has a standby time of 100 hours, which means that you will not have to recharge the battery for up to 100 hours, if no calls are made. While it is being used, the battery remains for up to 10 hours. This phone comes in an elegant black enclosure. The outdoor range supported by this phone is up to 300 meters.
