The Siemens Gigaset C475 Triple Cordless Phone is a regular phone mainly used for domestic purposes. This model uses the 
DECT technology and it is also GAP compatible.
A maximum of 6 handsets can be used with one base station, each handset weighing 116g. But the C475 package comprises of 3 handsets and a single base.
The black outer finish of both the base and handset gives the unit an imposing look. Since the phone comes with a wall mounting kit, it can be wall mounted to give your interiors a better look. It has a pretty good range of 50 metres indoors and 300 metres outdoors.
The matrix LCD display screen placed in the handset of the cordless phone provides colour display with backlit feature.
The ringer of this device is located both in the handset and base station. An in-built telephone book that stores in about 150 numbers is equipped in the handset.

The NiMH batteries installed is the only power source of this appliance. It provides a talk time of 12 hours and standby time of 150 hours.
Message announcement and SMS capability is also made possible in this domestic product. The in-built answering machine that records your messages for 40 minutes is another highlighted feature of this unit.
