The attractive Siemens Gigaset C595 Sextet Cordless Phone is 
an excellent and multi-facilitated cordless phone with a wall mountable base unit and charger. It has an illuminated graphical colour display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, 6 lines and 65k colours. The display illumination is supported with 2 colour schemes.
The cordless phone has an ergonomic keypad with polydome technology. The keypad has 12 numeric keys, 9 functions and a 5 way Navigation key. Other keypad features are amber illumination, a red hands free talking key and a red illuminated message key. Options like on/off keypad via # key (long press), Ringer tones on/off via * key and Flash key (R) with long press for pause (P) are unique to this fabulous design alone.
The speakerphone facility enables hands-free communication. The volume of the handset is adjustable, that is, 3 levels for earpiece volume and 5 levels for hands-free mode. The phone is provided with 5 ringer melodies. It has 20 selectable ring tones with 4 real sounds, 9 polyphonic and 7 standard melodies. The phone supports headset connection (mono) via its 2.5mm jack connector.

The call list of the phone has a memory of up to 30 missed calls.
The cordless phone facilitates free internal calls between handsets. It can even be used to make 3 way conference calling. The phonebook can be transferred between handsets as well. The unit supports SMS facility and it can even be used to send or receive SMS with up to 612 characters. It can also store 30 SMS with 90 digits. It has 4 personalized inboxes and V-Card support.
It has a Plug & Play answering machine which supports up to 45 minutes recording time. The phone supports user defined and predefined announcement along with the date and time announcement for each voice message. Power failure is never a hindrance to communication, as it offers unlimited protection against power failure.
The base of the unit comes with measurements of about 136 x 117 x 45mm and the handset with dimensions of 149 x 49 x 28mm. It comes with 2 x AAA (NiHM) batteries with a talk time of up to 12 hours and stand by time of up to 185 hours. It requires a charging time of < 8h. The indoor range is 50 meters and the outdoor range is 300 meters. The unit comes with a total of 6 handsets for convenience.
